Skerries Coast Guard were tasked at 18:54 this evening by the Irish Coast Guard’s rescue coordination centre (MRCC), to investigate a report of a kayak washed up on Rush North Beach.
Having located the kayak, the Skerries Coast Guard team conducted a search of the shoreline and established that there were no persons requiring assistance. The kayak was removed from the scene and Skerries Coast Guard were stood down by MRCC.
